The Importance of Doing Nothing
Before going on any break, you try to convince yourself you will be efficient and will get things done. You make a mental list: 1. Write essay, 2. Do chem homework, 3. Finish a painting, 4. Do laundry, etc. High hopes! Then when you are actually on break, the list starts to shorten. “I can wait to do this,” you tell yourself, “I’ll get it done… later.”
