First Post!
College seems to be the only thing that I think or hear about this entire summer. The concept of being a college student definitely has not sunk in yet. I have never seen the campus nor have I been to the state (which is probably to blame.) School in my head is still my high school. And although it’s amazing to be out, it’s scary (in a excited and nervous way) to think that I’m leaving.
So in response to that scared, nervous, excited, horrified feeling in our stomachs, my friends and I have made a sort of pact that since we are leaving our beloved Chicago we are going to take advantage of the city as much as possible. That means that I’m trying to go downtown and do things that every Chicagoan should do before they leave. Although I’ve been here my whole life, I haven’t done a lot of the touristy things people do. So next stop, top of the Sears Tower!
